A webcam, a internet connection, Alexa Gerth on a chair in the back and one hour of his precious time. This is all PVD needed last night when he joined his fans in a live videochat session on his Ustream account.
Seated on a chiar in his Berlin office, Paul talked about the Evolution album, about his preffered gigs and about future plans.
The chat sessions was supposed to be 30 minutes long, but Paul decided to stay a little bit longer with his fans, so the half hour that was scheduled became one full hour.
In case you missed this excellent live interview, here are some main ideas that came to light during the 60 minutes interview:
- - There will be a remix album for Evolution. In fact, Paul continued to work on every single track on the album after it has been delivered as final product
- - There are also plans for a new album after Evolution. Paul said that he promised someone that it will not take another 5 years until the release of the new album
- - Uploading of live recorded sets on Itunes is not possible mainly because of the copyrights issues.
- - Paul doesn’t speak Spanish. The only words he knows are Hola (Hi) and Perro (dog) J
There are many other interesting and funny things Paul said during those 60 minutes but I think it is better to see the recorded session yourselves. As an attendant to the chat session, I can only say that it was a fantastic evening. I am sure that the other 5.000 people that participated feel the same. Let’s hope that we will have more occasions like this. Thank you for everything Paul.
